...An everlasting love

It also seems appropriate this evening, er morning,  to explain the title of my blog. It is inspired by the lovely Natalie Cole's 1975 single "This Will Be".

Like anyone trying to find the permanent name for a blog they hope to keep up for at least a little bit of forever, I hit quite the road block. For a good 15 minutes the name typed into the title slot was "Well Shoot..." After a quick perusal of my playlists I chose "This Will Be" and didn't look back. I'm to indecisive to look twice. Being the awkward romantic I rather like the idea of using this title for more than a love song. "This will be" is a start to a variety of sentences. For example: This will be fun. This will be dangerous. This will be annoying to everybody else but me. This will be and everlasting love between this blog and I.

This will be my first trial run posting a video.

This will be...interesting

I have been meaning to make one of these for awhile now. I like to think I lead a rather enjoyable life and this seems like a good way to keep track of it all and update my many dedicated followers (hi mom!...in the other room).  I, unfortunately, was not blessed with the gene bestowed on the ten other kids in my family, talk about statistics.Writing is not my thing. Not in the "I hate writing sense" but the "I am not a skilled writer so I don't do it" sense. I can talk you ten different directions into the dirt, but  writing requires more coherence and allows less space for my 10 billion disclaimers. But que sera, sera! This is why I have finally followed the crowd, practice makes perfect and since I'm just aiming for above average a couple years of this should have me in the right direction.
